Jerry will be remembered for his big heart, endless jokes, and compassionate soul. Growing up in Chicago, Jerry attended St. Ferdinand Parish and went to St. Patrick High School where he played football, ran track, and met the love of his life, Jennie. Jerry worked hard as an electrician for the Chicago Park District and a Trustee for Local 9 of the IBEW.. He enjoyed coaching and making lifelong friends at North Austin Boys Club. During his free time you could find him traveling with Jennie, fishing, playing golf, or cheering on his favorite Chicago sports team.
In his memory, his family asks that you take time to crack jokes with your grandchildren, provide guidance to your children, and love your partner deeply. We will be celebrating Jerry’s life at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Mundelein. Visitation will be held from 1:30pm to 3:30pm with mass immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Jerry's name.
