Emmet was an active, enthusiastic, passionate person. He was never one to sit still. Growing up, he loved biking, fishing, cross country skiing and being outside. He was usually out the door, on his bike, before he finished his last bite of food at the kitchen table.
He and his wife, Janine, were married 37 years and were an inseparable couple. They truly enjoyed each other’s company and traveling life’s road together.
During his 33 years at Baxter Healthcare, Emmet was known as skilled, hardworking and dedicated. He cared about his coworkers and friends. If he teased you, he liked you.
Emmet took great joy in his German Shepherds and loved them like family. He enjoyed wood carving, especially Christmas ornaments for family and friends, was a passionate gardener, and took joy in sharing his wonderful homemade baked goods. He was generous with his time and talents. It wasn’t unusual to see Emmet walking down the street with tools in hand. Family, friends and neighbors could always depend on him for help.
