Today, Kristan Funeral Home is under the ownership of Pete's Son, Kevin. Kevin attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska on a baseball scholarship. After a stellar college career he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox. In 1984, he and LaMarr Hoyt were traded to the San Diego Padres for Ozzie Guillen. He finished his baseball career with the Montreal Expos. In 1989, Kevin attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science and following in his father's footsteps, became a Funeral Director.

Continuing in the family tradition is Kevin's brother, Peter. He has been with the funeral home since graduating from Worsham College in 1979.

Rounding out the staff is Jim Wipper. A 1976 graduate of Worsham College, Jim joined the staff in 2005. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in the Lake County Coroner's office where he served as Deputy Coroner, Chief Deputy Coroner and Coroner.
